Shrink is aplikasi iPhone yang di buat oleh phoenix3200, dimana dengan aplikasi ini kita dapat mengurangi besarnya ikon di iPhone kita yang berada di SpringBoard.

Ikon dapat di reduksi dari 80%, 75%, 66%, 50%, 33%, atau 25% dari ukuran originalnya.

Cara gampang SSH iphone via Windows

Yang diperlukan dalam SSH iPhone,iPhone 3g/3gs adalah sbb:

1.Program WinSCP yang dapat di unduh dari sini:http://sourceforge.net/projects/winscp/files/WinSCP/4.1.7/winscp417setup.exe/download.

2.Program iPhone tunnel suite yang dapat diunduh dari sini:http://rapidshare.com/files/270810320/iPhone_Tunnel_Suite_3.0.rar

3.iPhone harus sudah dijailbreak.

Tuts:

1.Sambungkan kabel data dari iPhone ke komputer/laptop kita.

2.Kli iphone tunnel suite launcher dan biarkan program tersebut terinstall di PC/Laptop kita.

3.Setelah terinstal harap buka dan biarkan terbuka, jangan di close.

4.Harap cek ip address kita yg berada di iphone dan juga masukan/cocokan dengan WinSCP seperti yang ada di bawah ini:

Pass: alpine

iPhone Dev-Team akhirnya merelease RedSn0w 0.9 versi beta untuk jailbreak,unlock dan kostumisasi firmware iPhone 3.1.2.

Kostumisasi ini mencakup boot logo,recovery logo dan “verbose” boot.

Versi beta ini support:
- Semua iPhone dan iTouch kecuali iTouch generasi ketiga.
- Windows dan Mac OSX (x86)
- Apple firmware 3.0 dan 3.1.2

Final release akan mensupport iTouch generasi ketiga, PPC OSX, dan Linux.

Apa perbedaan RedSn0w dengan  PwnageTool?
Redsn0w tidak memerlukan sistem restore seperti PwnageTool (bahkan tidak perlu iTunes sama sekali). Dan lagi PwnageTool dapat mencegah baseband kita ikut terupgrade ketika kita sedang upgrade firmware untuk menjaga tetap terunlock (redsn0w tidak menyentuh baseband sama sekali tapi tidak menjaga iPhone tetap terunlock). Redsn0w bekerja dengan memodifikasi file sistem yg sedang berjalan, jadi baseband, data dan aplikasi yang ada di iPhone akan tetap ada.

Apa perbedaannya dengan blackra1n?- Blackra1n menggunakan Pwnage bootrom original exploit untuk iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G, dan iPod 1G. (Karena menggunakan bootrom exploit, maka Apple tidak bisa memperbaikinya tanpa adanya upgrade hardware dari iPhone).

Bocoran iPhone OS 4.0

BoyGeniusReport melaporkan bahwa mereka mendapatkan bocoran tentang OS 4.0 dari sumber yang dapat dipercaya dan inilah bocoran tersebut:

●There will be multi-touch gestures OS-wide.
● “A few new ways” to run applications in the background — multitasking.
● Many graphical and UI changes to make navigating through the OS easier and more efficient.
● The update will supposedly be available for only the iPhone 3G and 3GS, but will “put them ahead in the smartphone market because it will make them more like full-fledged computers” more than any other phone to date. Everyone is “really excited.”
● The last piece of information is the most vague, but apparently there will be some brand new syncing ability for the contacts and calendar applications.

iPhone 3G[s] CPU and RAM revealed

Apple were quite keen on emphasizing that the new iPhone 3G S was twice as quick as the original iPhone 3G the other day, but they never mentioned the actual specs of the chipset. Luckily details are starting to appear now and it gets clear that the iPhone 3G S packs a powerful 600 MHz ARM Cortex A8 CPU and a PowerVR SGX graphics accelerator.

Providing a worthy hardware upgrade over the 412 MHz CPU of the iPhone 3G, the 3G S also packs double the RAM of its predecessor (256MB compared to 128MB on iPhone 3G). Also the CPU of the iPhone has received upgrades in more than just speed. The new core manufacturing process is now 65nm instead of 90nm and has put on more L1 cache, bringing along some L2 cache as well.

The iPhone 3G S comes with double the L1 cache of its predecessor and also introduces 256KB of L2 cache, which isn’t supported by the ARM11 CPU of the previous gen iPhones. The GPU has been upgraded too and now the iPhone 3G S comes with PowerVR SGX instead of the much toned down PowerVR MBX-Lite. This accelerator can theoretically give some 600% increase in geometry performance and a 150% increased fill rate.

Unfortunately, the lower specs make the original iPhone 3G unable to support the OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics API, which will come with the iPhone 3G S. That will give the developers a headache as they have to make their apps support OpenGL ES 1.1 and OpenGL ES 2.0 if they want to get better performance on the iPhone 3G S and backwards compatibility with the original iPhone 3G.

Fitur iPhone OS 3.0

Apple baru-baru ini mengumumkan begitu banyak fitur-fitur baru yang akan bisa kita nikmati nanti setelah iPhone OS 3.0 ini di release nanti. Tapi untuk saat ini baru developer saja yang bisa mengakses Firmware baru ini.

Sebenernya fitur-fitur yang ada di iPhone OS 3.0 ini bisa kita dapatkan tanpa harus menunggu iPhone Os 3.0 di release yaitu dengan cara jailbreak.

Gizmodo memberikan daftar aplikasi dan fitur yang bisa kita nikmati sama seperti fitur yang ada di iPhone OS 3.0 dengan syarat kita harus jailbreak iPhone kita.

Cut and Paste: Clippy (Cydia, Free while in Beta)
Apple’s ridiculously delayed cut and paste solution looks slick. Slicker than Clippy, the best unofficial C+P solution, which still gets the job done though.

GPS Turn-by-Turn: xGPS (Cydia, Free)
xGPS does use Google’s Maps, and does turn-by-turn brilliantly with active GPS tracking.

Tethering: iPhoneModem/PDANet (Cydia, Free)
Tethering via these jailbreak solutions works in the meantime, but be careful with how much data you use to not raise any eyebrows at the Death Star.

Email Multiple Photos: Emailpix (App Store, $US3)
Emailpix does it fairly smoothly, though, and gives you a choice of resolution to send to save time.

Bluetooth File Transfer: iBluetooth (Cydia, Free 15-day trial)
iBluetooth lets you pair with your computer to send and receive files. It’s kind of buggy, but does work

Universal Search: Search (Cydia, Free)
It doesn’t search your applications or your iTunes music like the 3.0 version, but Search is great for the most valuable searching situation: email. It also searches contacts, notes, SMS and the web.

Accelerometer Controls: mCoolPhone (Cydia, Free Trial/$3)
While mCoolPhones can’t touch your iTunes functionality, it lets you assign shake events to various other phone functions, like answering calls.

Notes Sync: iPhoneNotes (Mac-only desktop App, Jailbreak required. Free)
To pull off native notes sync, make sure you have OpenSSH installed on your jailbroken phone and grab iPhoneNotes, which will import all of your notes and also sync back any text file you have on your computer.

Background Apps/Push Notifications: Backgrounder (Cydia, Free)
You can use Backgrounder to force official App Store apps to keep running even when you switch away to another app. It’s great for keeping IM apps open and signed in while you do other things.

Landscape Keyboard: iRealSMS (Cydia, €10) and EasyWriter (App Store, Free)
For email, try the free EasyWriter App Store app, and for SMS, there’s iRealSMS, which also adds a number of other features for hardcore texters like quick-replying and advanced sorting.

MMS: SwirlyMMS (Cydia, $8) and Get MMS (App Store, $4)
The best is SwirlyMMS, but even that doesn’t work very well with AT&T’s MMS provider

Get MMS, on the other hand, makes receiving MMS messages via AT&T’s annoying web interface a little easier. It takes a screengrab of the login and password AT&T sends, and lets you save the attached video or photo.

Voice Memos: Epiphany (App Store, $2)
We love Epiphany, which buffers its recordings and only goes back in time to grab the important parts when you tell it to.
