Bocoran iPhone generasi ketiga

Pasti uda pada tau kan kalau Firmware 3.0 akan di release pertengahan taon ini, mungkin sekitar bulan juni.

Denger-denger kabar ni katanya Apple mau ngerelease iPhone generasi ketiga dengan fungsi-fungsi yang lebih canggih lagi dan akan mengadopsi Firmware baru yaitu OS 3.0 ini.

Baru aja baca dari websitenya boygeniusreport yang katanya mendapat informasi ini dari orang dalam AT&T mengenai iPhone generasi baru yang akan di release bulan Juni ini.

Berikut ini informasi mengenai iPhone generasi baru tersebut.

- New iPhone announcement around mid-June (duh)
- New iPhone will be faster and have a more seamless experience unmatched by any device (could be just talking about 3.0, but we think it’s also a new iPhone)
U-Verse iPhone application; will allow control of your home DVR (play, pause, rewind, etc.)
- The annual iPhone launch is “becoming a tradition.”
- Nothing official is being confirmed, but they said that people should prep for an exciting time this summer.
- AT&T is said to be working with Apple to create a unified product with an unparalleled experience across all their products and services.
- Apple’s 3.0 software should tell us where the iPhone platform is going… uh, k?
- They said customers shouldn’t need to choose from AT&T’s high-end devices because of features, they should choose based on preferences. The gap in capability should be filled with the new iPhone. Ok, bets on slide out QWERTY, autofocus camera, video sharing, blah blah?
- Seems like the higher speed HSDPA (7.2Mbps) is being hinted at too which should confirm the earlier rumors of the new Infineon chipset.
- The $99 3G netbook will start selling this summer, and the first one won’t be a Windows OS.

TapSB SpringBoard

Flash untuk iPhone

Ada berita bagus ni buat pengguna iPhone baik yang 3G ataupun yg 2G. Adobe dan Apple akan bekerja sama dalam mengembangkan Flash yang dapat digunakan di iPhone.

Chief Executive Officer Shantanu Narayen mengatakan Adobe menghadapi tantangan yang cukup besar dalam mengembangkan Flash yang akan digunakan di iPhone. Berikut kutipannya:

“It’s a hard technical challenge, and that’s part of the reason Apple and Adobe are collaborating,” Narayen said today in a Bloomberg Television interview from the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. “The ball is in our court. The onus is on us to deliver.”

Apple CEO Steve Jobs berkomentar bahwa Flash yang sekarang ini terlalu lamban untuk dapat digunakan oleh iPhone sekarang ini, dan versi slim nya yang di beri nama Flash Lite kurang berfungsi sempurna untuk digunakan di dalam web.

Semoga dengan kolaborasi antara Adobe dan Apple akan menghasilkan Flash yang cukup tangguh yang dapat digunakan di iPhone kita.

Generasi terbaru dari iPhone 3G?

Di kutip dari www.macrumors.com bahwa ditemukan bukti-bukti yang mengacu pada penerus dari iPhone 3G yang di beri nama “iPhone2,1″.

The original iPhone carries the model number of “iPhone 1,1″ while the 3G iPhone is labeled “iPhone 1,2″. These numbers do not change for simple storage increases and instead represent functionally different devices. Similarly, the iPod Touch was originally introduced as the “iPod 1,1″ and the most recent hardware revision was labeled “iPod2,1″. The 2,1 iPod Touch added a speaker, volume controls, microphone support and a much faster processor than the 1st generation model. This new model number can be found in the USBDeviceConfiguration.plist in an unencrypted firmware.

MacRumor juga menjelaskan bawah model “iPhone2,1″ telah dideteksi oleh laporan PinchMedia yang dapat dilihat di laporan di bawah ini.
